All of Us Are Dead , Another zombie show? Sure. But this one hits different. It’s like someone took the high school drama, cranked up the chaos, and dropped a zombie outbreak right in the middle.
The setup is straightforward, a science experiment goes horribly wrong, and suddenly, Hyosan High becomes ground zero for a zombie apocalypse. Well it’s not really gone wrong, its more like trying to protect and evolve a human. Starting with his own son, as he was bullied a lot. A group of students, including Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu), Lee Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Choi Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Lee Su-hyeok (Lomon), are trapped inside, fighting to survive.
If you think about it, it’s always talking about how the weak are oppressed and thrown down by society. But this is shown on the school level, how some are mistreated, girls disrespected and recorded. The apocalypse is nature’s way of clearing things itself. Some students who get mutated wonder that they never fit in as humans, and now they don’t even fit with zombies. How things have a weird way of playing out.
What stands out is the character development. These aren’t just generic survivors, they’re teenagers dealing with real emotions, relationships, and dilemmas. The dynamics between the characters add depth to the story, making you care about their fates.
The series doesn’t shy away from the gore and horror elements, but it balances them with moments of genuine emotion and camaraderie. The pacing keeps you on edge, and the cinematography captures the claustrophobic atmosphere of a school under siege.
If you’re into high stakes drama with a horror twist, All of Us Are Dead is worth the watch. It’s intense, emotional, and leaves you wanting more.
